I thought this was an English language version, but not so.

Finally a newspaper gets it and intelligently takes advantage of the iPad! Now maybe some US papers will follow this lead. Please NYTimes look at this ap!

I downloaded the app for the Corriere della Sera the day that my iPad arrived and it works beautifully. The app provides you with a complete digital edition of the newspaper, which is unusual, free of charge. The first release didnt have thumbnails, but they fixed this the next day with version 1.1 (I suspect they saw La Repubblicas app and realised their mistake). I like the crisp rendition of the pages of the newspaper, the ability to tap once to zoom-in on an area then tap twice to zoom-back out to full-page format. You can flip through pages using gestures, and you can zoom in and out by pinching and pushing. This is how all newspaper apps should be designed. Bellissimo.

179Euro per year subscription? Unacceptably expensive. It is a straight copy of the printed version, including all the ADVERTISEMENTS!!!

The newspaper is always available very early in the morning. Navigation is easy and fast. Price is acceptable. Crashes are seldom.

Constant crashes.It is impossible to read the whole newspaper without several and unexpected app shut downs.

You have to pay 20/month subscription to see the paper, then you have to watch fullscreen iPad advertising, and then look at the ads that appeared in the paper itself. They want too much!

Says free but you have to buy a subscription to access anything other than a screenshot of the front page. Ill be deleting this.

The title says it all: -the ability to share the subscription with up to 5 other iPads makes it good value for money. You also get access to local editions and weekly magazines -I like readability which mimics the real newspaper rather than what is done with WSJ and FT. -its still buggy. I have to often login again with user name and password even though they should be saved. Sometimes that takes more than one attempt and I have exit and enter the app a couple of times. Sometime it stops loading the edition even though it is less than 100% which is a pain if you realize it after having gone offline -the initial advertisement is fine but takes too long to get by it Fixing these issues would get you 5 stars in my opinion

Worst app I have ever downloaded. I never write reviews, but this product was so terrible I was forced to make an exception. Even after I bought issues online, I was unable to access them.

Worst app of any newspaper Ive seen. Very expensive. Once you subscribe once, it goes in an endless automatic renewal. Still cannot figure how to get out of it.

I forgot to add in my previous review that while there were no other reviews, the app maker shows 267 reviews for this new app. A pathetic and untruthful impression that the app has stood the test. However, as you see, i am the only one to review it...dont trust this app.

Rather than making it faster and easier to read the Corriere, the new app is much slower to load and allows the publishing company to push commercial pop-ups, like the subscription to Tutto+, that slow tremendously the reading experience. Corriere: please fix this catastrophe quickly!

This is the best digital version of a paper because it keeps the layout of the paper version. Zoom in and out and see all pictures in high quality. See all the adds, like on the paper copy. Makes me feel like i picked up the morning paper from the vendor in the morning!

The moment application is buggy and clank at the same time. Unlike modern newspaper platforms, such as the New York Times, El Pais, Le Monde, the Italian solution lacks the capability to deliver a modern application for News outlet.

Per qualche motivo è ora impossibile condividere gli articoli con terzi (anch’essi abbonati): quando si schiaccia sul link condiviso, si apre solo la preview dell’articolo. Ed il collegamento con l’articolo integrale non funziona

Mi piache il nuovo stile. È piu facile.

Great app to read the print edition online

I subscribed to practice reading Italian. Corriere is a great source for news, period. Engaging and interesting take on current events, culture, etc. And the app puts it all there for you in an easy-to-use interface. Bellissima!

Useful perspective on world events, thoughtful essays on contemporary culture.

There are two annual subscription options, with the exact same name, but drastically different prices, with no explanation “Corriere tutto+ annuale” is listed twice, both times with no description. One is 184.99$ per year, the other is 229.99$ a year. Which one do I select for the yearly subscription that gives me the benefits I get now by paying weekly. Why hasn’t this been fixed. The product is good, but Apple should have seen the pricing makes no sense, and so should have corriere.

The App is will organized and easy to read the news as well as other sections, including book and movie reviews and culture in general. Very well priced for anyone learning Italian I interested in Italian centric news. Useful perspective of international news Highly recommended

Per me sta perfetto, posso trovare e leggere le notizie più importante senza problemi

Nonostante si paghi ci sono continuamente pubblicità. Gli articoli seri sono cortissimi come per le versioni non a pagamento, in piu c’e’ pieno di notizie gossip ridicole e video idioti per attirare clics sull’immancabile pubblicità iniziale. Con tutto il rispetto per il Corriere che a livello cartaceo è un buon giornale, questa edizione on line fa pena. Capisco il fatturato ma c’è un limite alla decenza. Provate a vedere se nelle edizioni online del NY Times o Wall st Journal ci sono queste cagate.

Perfect app for those Italian speaking persons who can read the newspaper in a foreign country. Some American newspapers should have the same format that is very easy to navigate.Good job, keep up the great work.

BUT TO SLOW. Quando click-ki Sulla notizia ci mette troppo tempo ad aprirsi. Spero che il programmatore un giorno, trovi una soluzione più pratica. Sappiamo che è molto complicato. Però nel difficile si può lavorare. Con tutti questi Cookies non è facile.

Full of bugs working on IPad prod, worst than the previous one that was a disaster, same thing for the Gazzetta application, navigating on corriere.it is terrible, you require the login all the time why you didn’t develop an app with the possibility to remember credentials alike everyone in the world? Guys I’m a loyal customer but I’m loosing patient and I seriously thinking not to Ernie’s my 2 subscription to both corriere and Gazzetta. FIX THE BUGS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The idea of the layout rework is great allowing a more elegant and easy way to read articles. The new version of the app is stable but the phone heats a lot during a reading session and battery drains like nothing!

Mi piace molto leggere questo giornale, ma non ho rinnovato l’abbonamento perché l’app è inagibile, almeno per l’iPhone. Mi abbonerei di nuovo con piacere se ridisegnassero l’app e lo rendessero più user-friendly.

Really works bad

A very poor and unstable app. What's even more annoying is that you are presented with extra ads even if you are a paying subscriber (the edition comes with its standard set of ads like the printed version). One star only because you can't give zero... embarrassing compared to the app of The Economist or Nikkei Asia Review. Corriere: you need to fix this!

Ancora non ho accesso al quotidiano on-line. Non la prima volta che capita. Oltretutto, completare tutti gli steps per l'acquisto é molto lungo.

Ho chiesto varie volte queste ultime due settimane di aggiornare i "giochi", le cui date sono ferme al 31 dicembre dell'anno scorso... È chiaro per tutti gli utilizzatori che RCS non ha fatto niente. Ho pure re-installato il programma nella speranza che facendo questo avrei avuto successo. Niente da fare... Condivido inoltre il rammarico della sempre più brutta abitudine di "farcirci" di pubblicità sempre più spesso. Quando sottoscrissi l'abbonamento, non era così... Che peccato.. È molto probabile che alla scadenza, non rinnoverò!!!

Sembra proprio che si rendano conto dei tanti problemi di questa versione (oppure se ne rendono conto ma non sanno venirne a capo). Mancano ancora pochi giorni alla scadenza del mio abbonamento e poi disinstallerò l'applicazione

Nella versione digitale sono piu' le pagine di pubblicita che quelle con contenuti, una vergogna ed un fastidio continuo. Visto che l'abbonamento si paga, pure molto, mettere pubblicita' ovunque e' mancanza di rispetto verso l'abbonato ed il lettore. Vergogna!

Senza la possibilita di acquistare copie singole questa app si merita 3 stelle

Un disastro. Lentissimo. Si pianta spessissimo. Quando scarichi un giornale e sei poi senza connettivita', spesso le pagine restano bianche e non visualizza. Un sacco di cose nuove inutili per chi vuole il puro giornale, nel caso da scaricare rapidamente e leggerselo in santa pace. Chi ha la vecchia versione se la tenga stretta. Con la nuova, inutile abbonamento

Piena di bugs, non si riesce neanche ad archiviare le edizioni precedente... Vergogna, 180 euro l'anno??? Mai più

Sembra ridicolo che dopo oltre un mese da quando é uscito il nuovo iPad con il retina display, l'applicazione del corriere non faccia nessun movimento verso il miglioramento dell'immagine. Neanche nell'icona..

Leggere il Corriere online è completamente gratuito. Leggere il Corriere sull'app apposita, invece, è a pagamento. Chi mai vorrebbe pagare per un servizio che è già disponibile gratuitamente? Mistero. A mio avviso, questa scelta editoriale riflette solo la mancanza di prospettiva dell'azienda. Soldi buttati via.

Un crash continuo, un'interfaccia terribile. Vorrei indietro i soldi dell'abbonamento!

A parte che non ė Retina ready, nonostante il nuovo ipad sia uscito ormai da un mese.... Ma l app in sė ė terribile, lenta, incriccata, obsoleta, e dal punto di vista del design ė terribile...son senza parole. L art director di corriere dovrebbe fare il gesto nobile di licenziarsi..

Aspetti positivi: La app e' ben fatta, il giornale si legge bene e si ha accesso a tutte le edizioni locali e agli inserti settimanali. Ottima l'opzione che consente di leggere i singoli articoli regolando le dimensioni dei caratteri e da l'Opzione di "leggerti" l'articolo. Aspetti negativi: perche' la sottoscrizione automatica? E' meglio pagare il mese successivo in modo volontario.

Una grossa lacuna: manca la possibilità di leggere il quotidiano orizzontalmente mezza pagina alla volta. Possibile con Repubblica e con il Press Reader di Press Display! Altro difetto: viene consegnato troppo tardi. I quotidiani concorrenti sono mediamente disponibili quattro ore prima.

Finally the real Corriere della Sera on my iPad, I can read it anytime, anywhere. The app is very fast!!!!! 5 stars. Great work guys.
